Plays with this card
- 🏅 Gold Charge 6×₹1,000 + the Gold Collection - patience pays 10.9%
Six ₹1,000 transactions a month earn 1,000 bonus MR; hold points for the 24K Gold Collection Taj voucher at ₹0.583/pt - the best published redemption in Amex India. Bonus: this is the ONE personal Amex that still earns on utilities.
6×₹1,000 = ₹6,000 → 1,120 MR/month; at Taj-24K value that is ~10.9% on the engineered spend. 24K takes ~21 months at minimum play.
- 🔁 MR → Marriott 1:1 - the transfer that reliably beats vouchers
India MR transfers to airlines at a weak 2:1, but Marriott Bonvoy at 1:1 - and mid/high-value Bonvoy redemptions clear the ₹0.583 Taj benchmark almost unconditionally. Airline 2:1 transfers only win on premium-cabin awards.
24,000 MR → 24,000 Bonvoy → a 25,000-pt night at a ₹15,000 property ≈ ₹0.6+/MR, above every voucher option.
